BetaProjects was launched in 2009 as a joint venture between Mutopo and Crowdcentric. The aim of BetaProjects is to solve complex, real-world problems through social production. Our first project, the betacup challenge, sponsored by Starbucks aimed to find the best ideas to eliminate paper cup consumption and help bring these ideas to life.

ThinkSocial connects a broad cross-section of people, businesses, and civic organizations through content, gatherings, and public recognition efforts focused on the use of social and mobile media to address society’s most pressing challenges.
